PROVIDENCE CHAPEL
Proprietor: Mrs D Stupples |
Providence Baptist Chapel was originally converted into 2 separate dwellings in 1985. One of these dwellings has recently been lovingly refurbished to provide a self-catering home of style and comfort. According to the history books it was a popular place of worship for many years becoming a children’s nursery before being converted into residential status. The museum in the town is home to the original pulpit. Visitors are able to walk into town within 10 minutes but unfortunately the return journey always takes slightly longer as there is a steep hill to climb! The property is able to sleep 2 – 4 people and comprises: Ground floor First floor Second floor There is a small patio area at the front of the chapel and there is off street parking approximately 50 yards away from the building. We want you to relax and enjoy your stay in Providence Chapel – all linen/towels are included in the price as are gas and electricity. We provide a welcome pack, which includes essentials such as milk, tea, coffee, bread, local eggs and fruit as well as a homemade cake and a bottle of wine. We want you to feel ‘on holiday’ as soon as you step through the chapel door! Please note that Providence Chapel is non-smoking and we regret that children under the age of 12 and pets are unable to stay. |
